There’s not many things you can relate to the feeling of seeing a new place for the first time. The anticipation, the injection of energy you get as your ETA nears, and the joy of a new experience come together to form the perfect cocktail of life. As I’ve gotten older and my photography has improved, the desire to find a new destination and recreate or reimagine a shot has become an outright need. In the last two years, I have tried to incorporate one to two trips a year that provide new experiences and new memories. Some of the photos here, like the ones from New York, Chicago, and Mexico, instantly become some of my favorites.
