Evan J. Moorhouse

I grew up in Westfield, MA surrounded by an incredible foundation of family and friends. I was fortunate to grow up playing both baseball and hockey which took me all the way through my college days at Westfield State University. That experience influenced my current career as the Director of Hockey Operations for Brown University Men’s Ice Hockey in NCAA Div I.

My love for photo and video started with a GoPro when I was a sophomore in college. I was on a family vacation on Cape Cod and became enamored with the ability to record things under water. That fascination became an obsession and I've spent much of my free time honing my skills and expanding my creativity in the years since. I am always on the lookout for “the next great shot”.

That shared enthusiasm and lifelong friendship with the gentleman pictured below was the foundation for a business idea that would later blossom into what is now known as Crossbar Media Productions.

Hi, I’m Thomas Quinlan, co-founder and creative force behind Crossbar Media Productions. My passion for storytelling through video began with a college project, where I filmed short videos using a GoPro. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a shared vision with a longtime friend, and in 2017, we launched Crossbar Media Productions to turn our creative passion into a business.

 

Since then, we’ve produced a diverse range of content, including wedding films, commercials, baseball recruiting reels, and recital photography. At Crossbar Media, we’re committed to capturing the moments that matter and crafting compelling stories that resonate with audiences. Whether I’m operating the camera or perfecting footage in the editing suite, my focus is on delivering visuals that not only look stunning but also evoke genuine connection.

 

Outside of my work, I enjoy staying active by playing men’s league hockey, exploring the outdoors through hiking, and experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen. Most importantly, I cherish quality time with my wife and daughters, who inspire me every day.
